Vancouver: Honduras, the Struggle Continues

I am thrilled that Maria Luisa is coming to Canada. I learned so much from her during my work with CODEMUH. I lived with Maria Luisa and her family when I was in Honduras and have fond memories of her and all the compas who work for the rights of maquiladora workers in the country. They work not only to improve women’s labour conditions but also work with women in a holistic way so that they can be empowered from within to value themselves as human beings. Here is more about her organization: http://codemuh.net/

She will be speaking this Monday and CoDev sponsored her visit to the country and will be hosting this event.
