Rainfall on my soul

The sun does not always shine
We are often abandoned in the darkness…
To be tested, pressed and challenged against our very self
We throw tantrums when our visions do not match our reality
We go numb with pain
And just when we feel like we cannot take it anyone, we finally stop and breathe…we sense a flicker of light within that refuses to cease…
It is our human imprint for survival, for healing, for self-actualization
It is the sun within, our spirit that pulls us back, not to our plan, but the divine one, and to our truth–not the doubt of the ego, it brings us home—to our magic, to the miracle of who we really are…
Many times it rains, we cannot see, we cannot feel; we forget…
Yet today I needed every raindrop to remember what my soul knows…

—dedicated to my beloved tribe, who witness all shades of me, you know who you are, diosas…
+ anyone who needs to remember that we all go through ups and downs in this life, it is just the human experience and we are in it together—xoxo
[all inspired by a gem of a book that I serendipitously found written by  Goddess Leonie Dawson]
